After a whole year with no in-person concerts, Campus Activities Board (CAB) kicked off the 2021–2022 academic year with Ham Jam, headlined by Snakehips with opener Tommy Genesis. The energy and size of the crowd reflected the anticipation for and success of the show. Both students and performers alike were ecstatic to get back to in-person shows, and the artists were also excited for the traveling that comes with it. Tommy loved being on the Hamilton campus, and even gave some consideration to the Light Side/Dark Side divide, which she likened to Twilight: vampires on the Dark Side and werewolves on the Light Side. Snakehips had similar impressions, believing that Bristol is haunted (but not too haunted), and expressed that they wanted to come back and be honorary graduates/students of Hamilton.
Staff photographers Mer Morales ’25 and Sophia Viscarello ’25 documented the concert.
