How you got introduced to volleyball:
My friends kept telling me I should play volleyball because of my height. Finally in my sophomore year of high school, I decided to try out for the team.
Favorite thing to do on campus besides your sport:
Spend time with my friends, sleep, and go to Diner!
What attracted you to Hamilton’s volleyball program:
What really sold me on the Hamilton volleyball program was seeing the team chemistry on my visit. The team was just filled with so many amazing people and I wanted to be a part of that culture.
What is the toughest obstacle you have had to overcome in your athletic career:
My
sophomore year, I had very bad tendinitis in my shoulder which impacted my level of play the court since I am a hitter.
How has the program evolved over the past four years:
During my sophomore year, we got a new head coach and assistant coach. In my junior year, we again got a new assistant coach. Our new coaches have made a lot of changes (for the better) and now we are all working to rebuild the program.
What has been your favorite sports moment at Hamilton:
Seeing my friends supporting me at my games and going to support them at their games as well.
What are you looking forward to in your senior season:
I’m looking forward to a competitive season and hopefully winning a lot of games!
