Dear Hamilton Community,
We can’t believe that we’ve come to the final issue of our semester. This fall, we at
The Spectator
have brought you campus news ranging from President Tepper’s inauguration to the Citrus Bowl, from the 2024 election to student protests across campus. Throughout it all, we have been here to inform the campus community of all that has been happening on The Hill.
This semester has certainly been unnerving — warm when it should be cold, moving fast when you need to slow down and, perhaps most egregiously, raining when you were expecting snow. Whether this is your first or final semester at Hamilton, we hope that you are taking things slow, treasuring the friendships you have made here and staying dry. As final exams and deadlines approach, we want to wish everyone the best of luck on their exams and projects and safe trips home or abroad once the semester comes to an end.
While you’re still on The Hill, though, there are a few events to look out for before finals week comes into full swing: on Saturday, Dec. 14th, both the men’s and women’s basketball teams have home matches against SUNY Cortland, the men at 1:00 p.m. and the women following them at 3:30 p.m. Later that night, the Student Soloists Concert takes place in the Wellin at 6:00 p.m., a great event to support your friends and listen to some music in-between your work. For first year students, swing by the FYE study break in Sadove at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday for some much deserved treats and relaxation time.
Well, that’s that on that! Best of luck with your finals, get home safe for break and remember to always read
The Spectator
.
With love,
The Spectator
