Men’s basketball won their season opener convincingly, demolishing SUNY Old Westbury 107–59 at home. Hamilton scored 14 of the first 15 points and never looked back from there, expanding the lead to 56–28 by halftime. Garret Keyhani

Women’s cross country
On Nov. 12, the women’s cross country team placed an impressive fifth of 24 teams at the NCAA Regional Championship in Rochester. Clara Fu

26 led the team over the six-kilometer course in 22:51.7, finishing 10th overall. Fellow first-year Taylor Harris

26 followed in 14th place, clocking a time of 22:56. Both Fu and Harris earned all-region recognition by finishing in the top 35 at the meet, qualifying to compete at the Division III Women’s Niagara Regional Cross Country Championship on Nov. 19.
Men’s cross country
The men’s team also finished fifth out of 24 teams at the regional championship. George Brady

23 rounded out the top five overall, leading the team with a time of 25:23.9 over eight kilometers. Andrew Harrell

23 placed tenth with a 25:39.6, joining Brady in qualifying for the Men’s Cross Country Championship at Michigan State on Nov. 19. Brady and Harrell, both seniors, will complete their collegiate careers at the prestigious meet.
Women’s volleyball

24 landed a spot on the all-region volleyball team for a second straight year. She will be one of 20 athletes to earn the honor from Region One. Carman was a standout for the Continentals who finished with an 8–11 record, and 3–7 in-conference. Carman, along with other standout juniors, Summer McClintic

Women’s basketball
Women’s basketball has had a fantastic start to the season, racking up wins against Swarthmore and Vassar. The season opener against Swarthmore was tight, with the teams being separated by just one point at the onset of the fourth quarter, but the Continentals locked down to produce a 62–57 win. 23 was instrumental in the win, logging 16 points and 11 rebounds. Sehring scored 16 again in the team’s 71–60 win over Vassar. Althea Hill

24, who scored 14, was named to the all-tournament team. Sehring, who was named the tournament MVP, was also voted as the NESCAC women’s basketball player of the week for her elite performances in both wins. With 0–3 Hartwick College next on the schedule, the team looks to continue their unbeaten run.

Football
The football team lost their final game of the season, 19–14, to Bates at home on Nov. 12. The team’s overall record this season was 2–7. The Continentals led 7–0 and 14–6, but fell to a late Bates comeback. Quarterback Matt Banbury

24. The latter touchdown came after a nine-play, 80-yard drive across the field. Bates proved too strong in the closing stages, however, and finished the season with a 3–6 record.
