
Women’s Golf
The Continentals competed in the Wesleyan University Fall Invitational on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. The team tied for second place in a 10-team pool. Angela Liu ’27 tied for eighth place in the 58-golfer field. Every member of the team placed in the top 20 overall, with Serena Bagga ’27 tying for 11th, Peyton Sichol ’26 tying for 16th and Sofia Weinstein ’24 tying for 19th. Annika Saida ’27 competed as an individual and tied for 11th.
Men’s Golf
The Continentals placed third in the 18-team Oglethorpe University West Pines Collegiate tournament on Oct. 2 and 3. Tyler Tornoe ’25 earned a position on the all-tournament team with his sixth-place finish among the 94 contestants. Roman Aroca Gonzalez ’26 tied for ninth place, and Brian Healy ’25, Eric Sodenberg ’26 and Jaikrit Bhattacharya ’26 rounded out the team’s performance with places of 36th, 55th, and 63rd respectively.
Field Hockey
The Continentals crushed St. Lawrence 4–0 at home on Oct. 3, scoring one goal in the opening quarter and three in the second before cruising to the win through a scoreless second half. Alana King ’27 and Alden Duserick ’27 scored two goals apiece. The team played tight defense throughout the game, so much so that goalkeeper Reilly Loughman ’27 never had to defend a shot on goal. The win is the Continentals’ third in a row, bringing their record to 6–3.
Men’s Soccer
Hamilton recorded a 2–0 win at home against Ithaca College on Oct. 3. Luke Peplowski ’ 25 scored both goals, the first coming inside the opening ten minutes, the second arriving in the final three minutes of the game. Kai Haesslein ’24 successfully saved seven shots on goal, shutting out the Continentals’ opponents for the third time this season.
