Dear Hamilton Community,
Whether or not you took part in the 46 Peaks trip this year, our achievement is most definitely a feat to remember. We at The Spectator want to wish a deep thank you to all of the hikers, leaders, jitney drivers and friends cheering on from campus who made it all possible! Here’s to another 46!
While midterms may be picking up before Fall Break, we hope the upcoming respite provides some light at the end of the tunnel. Make the last push, pull the last late night and then take it easy.
In the meantime, here are some of our staff favorite ways to unwind: playing 2048, listening to podcasts, going on runs and walks with friends, watching movies, going to Pub Trivia, eating good food, baking brownies, playing IM Basketball and napping. Hopefully some of these ideas can inspire you to take extra care of yourself while you grind out those last assignments!
We won’t be publishing a new issue next week because of the break, but we can’t wait to come back from the brief interlude and bring the Hamilton campus some exciting new stories.
Finally, we are thrilled to bring back the “From Where I Sit” column, highlighting the perspective of international students at Hamilton. If you are interested in participating, please reach out; we’d love to share your story!
Sincerely,
The Spectator
