On Wednesday, Sept. 25, the College announced that Selena Coppock ’02 will join Tina Fey on stage as the moderator for this year’s highly-anticipated installment of the Sacerdote Great Names series on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 7 PM in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.
Coppock, who graduated from Hamilton with a concentration in English, wrote for
The Spectator
, sang in the a capella group The Hamiltones, and was an active member of Greek life while on campus. She currently works as a managing editor for
The Princeton Review
in New York City in addition to her work as an author and storyteller.

The New Rules for Blondes
, in 2013 through HarperCollins. She has also written numerous articles for publications like
The Huffington Post
,
Jezebel
, and
xoJane
.
Coppock has also explored many different mediums to express her passion for comedy. She is the host of Two Wick Minimum, described as “America’s only podcast on candles.” She is also the creator of the parody Twitter account @NYTvows, where she takes a comedic perspective on the marriage and vows section of
The New York Times
.
She released her first stand-up album,
Seen Better Days
, in 2017 with Little Lamb Recordings. The album features 22 songs and spent two days at the #1 spot on the iTunes Comedy Chart.
Coppock has also dabbled in television, both as a consultant for the show
Younger
and also as a featured actress in the web television series
Red Oaks
on Amazon Prime. Finally, she has made appearances on Bravo, LifeTime, and CollegeHumor.com.
Prior to arriving on the Hill for the Great Names event, Coppock will host a storytelling show “In Your Own Words” in New York City. In November, she will perform in “Bitchcraft,” a variety show that she co-hosts with Lauren Maul.
The Great Names event is free and open to the public, but tickets will be required. A limited number of tickets — for both Hamilton community members and the general public — are still available as of Sept. 25.
