The Hamilton community is enriched every day by a strong and dedicated group of professors. From introductory classes, to thesis seminars, to casual conversations in Opus, Hamilton’s professors take any chance they get to challenge, support, and better their students inside and outside of the classroom. Despite the tumultuous social and political climate, both on and off the Hill, the quality of Hamilton professors remains unequivocally strong and steady.
Hamilton professors take a genuine interest in the success of their students, and their dedication does not go unnoticed. Students feel comfortable approaching professors to discuss the difficulties of college, ask for life advice, and hone academic skills. Professors are extraordinarily receptive to late-night emails and desperate meeting requests. As long as students are putting forth the effort, professors are more than willing to meet us halfway in our pursuit of a better final product.
Above all, professors are willing to work both with and for students in order to best prepare us for our eventual lives off the Hill. Whether they are supporting students at sports games and performances, hosting lectures and events in their fields of expertise, advising students in times of academic and personal crisis, or simply just being trusted confidants, Hamilton’s professors go above and beyond the call of duty.
