Dear Hamilton Community,
We hope everyone is acclimating well to the rhythm of the new academic year, and we are delighted and eager to maintain coverage of all things happening within the campus community. We have some exciting stories in the pages ahead, including a rare guest contribution from some students over at Bowdoin who are promoting the creation of a first-ever NESCAC fantasy league platform. Euphoria is back for those in the Class of 2024 who remember Dov’s charming smoothie shop, and in this issue we include a rating of every bubble tea available — sip away! We hope you enjoy perusing our other stories, and before our next issue arrives, be sure to check out some events that are happening across campus within the next week, such as “The Jewish World of Alexander Hamilton” event taking place in the chapel on Sept. 19 at 7:00 p.m. as well as guest speaker Ilya Budraitksis’s lecture “The Features of the New State Ideology in Russia” in KJ 202 on Sept. 20 at 4:10 p.m.
We have received a tremendous amount of applications to join our team this year, especially from first-year students, and we are excited to share more stories from fresh voices in the issues ahead. And, if you are open to pursuing a different kind of opportunity within the paper,
The Spec
has just opened applications for our long-form investigative team, where we work collaboratively as a group to produce in-depth research and uncover crucial findings pertaining to the Hamilton community. Consider applying if you are interested in picking up some serious journalistic skills and knowledge, or if you have a good scoop!
If you are interested in writing, editing or photographing for
