Dear Hamilton Community,
Welcome (back) to campus! We are so excited to celebrate the arrival of the Class of 2029 and all returning students.
If you’re new to campus, we hope you enjoy reading The Spectator, our weekly newspaper composed of six sections: News, Features,
Opinion, Arts & Entertainment, Sports, and long-form Investigative. If you want to learn more or are interested in joining our team, stop by
our table at the Club Fair and keep an eye out for applications coming soon.
This week marks the first full week of campus classes, and with it, comes a wide range of campus activities to keep you busy and give you a
break from surely plenty of schoolwork. On Friday, stop by the club fair at noon on the Dunham Green (or relocated indoors due to rain) to
get to know campus organizations, whether this is your very first Clinton fall, or your fourth! The Spectator can’t wait to meet you!
Our incredible athletes are playing a range of games this week, both home and away. If you’re interested in supporting our Conts on cam
pus, stop by Women’s Soccer and Field Hockey on September 6th, both playing at 11 a.m. against Middlebury College. Men’s Soccer will
also be playing Middlebury College’s team at 1:30 p.m. Come cheer on the Field Hockey team at Goodfriend Field, and both soccer teams
at Love Field.
From our Media Suite office to your hopefully almost-fully decorated dorm room, we wish you a wonderful school year, filled with new and
old friends, interesting classes, and sunny days on the Kirkland Green.
Sincerely,
The Spectator
