
Volleyball
Despite Hamilton Volleyball’s rocky start to the season, the team had much to be proud of. First-year Grace Jensen ’29 has been an incredible addition to the squad as she ranks fifth in the NESCAC with 0.50 service aces per set in conference matches. Caitlin Allen ’27 is second among all NESCAC players with 1.14 blocks per set against conference opponents. With two games remaining for the squad, away matches at Williams and Middlebury next weekend, the women are looking to end the season on a high note. Despite a missed playoff bid, the future looks bright for the Continentals.
Women’s Tennis
The Continentals ended the fall season with a bang, with their best showing on the season at the 2025 Hamilton Fall Invitational on Oct. 11 and 12. Hamilton College Women’s Tennis players won 28 out of 33 singles and doubles matches and captured three of the four doubles flight championships and five of the eight singles flight titles. Despite featuring Bates College, William Smith College and St. Lawrence University, Hamilton stole the show.
Priyanka Challapalli ’27 and Mona Farah ’29 went 3-0 and were named the second flight doubles champions. Muhan Cui ’28 and Samantha Rainero ’26 won both of their matches, giving them the third flight doubles title. Lila Freeman ’26 and Sara Rock ’29 earned the fourth flight doubles championship with a perfect 2-0 record. Rainero won the third flight singles title with a flawless 3-0 record. The Continentals will continue the 2025-26 season in early March with the dual-match portion of their schedule.
Women’s Soccer
With Hamilton’s final game this Saturday, the Continentals have had a great season. The team went 7-4-3 overall, and 4-4-1 in conference. Hamilton has been on a four-match win streak to end the season, including impressive wins against Union and Amherst. This four-match winning streak is the longest since the 2021 season, when the Continentals rattled off six straight victories. Haley Cramer ’28 was named NESCAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week this past week for her two goal performance. She has recorded a goal in each of the last four matches and is tied for seventh in the NESCAC with five goals and tied for 11th with 10 points.
Hamilton closes out the regular season at home against Trinity College (5-5-2, 1-5-1) on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m.
Field Hockey
Hamilton Field Hockey is currently ranked 7th in the nation after a fantastic season. With an overall record of 10-3 and 5-3 record in the NESCAC, Hamilton will have a good shot at a deep playoff run to cap an already great season. This season Head Coach Missy Mariano collect her 200th career win, including number 71 with the Continentals. A win over Amherst College last weekend marked the first time since 2019 that the Continentals had beat the Mammoths. Goalie Kelly Janssen ’28 was named the NESCAC Player of the Week last week. She has a 1.04 goals against average and .758 save percentage in 460-plus minutes. She ranks top ten in the NESCAC in goals against average (GAA) and saves. Becky Felker ’26 leads the Continentals with seven goals and 15 points. Sammy Higgins ’26 has a team-high four assists and is third on the squad with 10 points.
Men’s Soccer
The Continentals have had a rough end to the season, having gone scoreless in the past three games before scoring in a losing effort to Amherst over the weekend. Despite this, the team is 5-5-3 overall and 1-5-3 in NESCAC play. Patrick Ferrare ’27 leads the team with five goals and tops Hamilton with 12 points. He is 3-for-3 on penalty kicks. Hamilton has one last game this season, a home match for senior night against Trinity on Saturday Oct. 25 at 1:30 p.m.
