On behalf of
The Spectator
team, we would like to welcome new students, returning students, and all other community members back to campus for the 2020 Spring semester. We know it’s cold and arguably kind of ugly on campus right now, but we are excited to be back and delivering news to you every week.
In the interests of transparency and communication, we would like to outline some of our goals for
The Spectator
this semester. This spring, we hope to accomplish a number of things in our new roles as Editors-in-Chief. Our main goal is to build off the excellent paper that has been left to us by Editor Emeritus Will Kaback ’20. We hope to continue providing you with relevant, timely news and to always pursue the truth keeping journalistic integrity in mind.
This semester, we have a number of exciting developments coming your way. We hope to be utilizing a new investigative team on the Spectator to deliver some investigative journalism reports your way; we also plan to infuse some more creativity into the layout of the newspaper.
Ultimately, we know how fortunate we are to work with our amazing editorial board and incredibly talented staff of writers, editors, artists, and photographers. We want to continue delivering their best work to you every week.
We hope you all have a wonderful semester and are as excited for the upcoming few months as we are. Thank you for reading The Spectator.
Sincerely,
Amanda Kim & Claire Goldstein
Editors-in-Chief
