It has been a very busy time as we have all been counting down the hours until spring break. We are almost there! In the meantime, we at

The Spectator

are pleased to release our first issue of the semester featuring a longform investigation piece. Our longform team has been working diligently since the start of the semester on conducting interviews, researching and writing on some of the bigger issues affecting our community, and we are excited to begin publishing these stories on a regular basis throughout the rest of the year.

At the start of the semester, we began discussions on how best to increase our online and social media presence to increase accessibility and awareness for the topics we cover. We would like to thank Ray and Evelyn who recently joined our team as social media editors for all of the work they have put in and for the work that is yet to come. Be sure to check out the articles uploaded to our website at spec.hamilton.edu, and follow us on our social media platforms as we continue to expand our presence across Instagram and Twitter.

We wish everyone a wonderful spring break, and we are looking forward to a great second half of the semester when we return. Until then, rest, rejuvenate, read some Spec.
