Andie:
Major- Psychology; Minor- Music
Why Hamilton?
Mia:
I chose Hamilton because of the people mainly. Everyone I met just exuded kindness and acceptance. The open curriculum was also very appealing to me as I really don’t know what I am passionate about and felt an open curriculum could help me find just that.
Zoe:
I chose Hamilton because I love the idea that you can truly study what you love. Also, the community is so supportive and lovely!
Andie:
Hamilton places a large emphasis on academics while simultaneously providing a space to meet lots of different people and engage in tons of different social activities. It’s the best of both worlds!
Interesting fact about you?
Mia:
I have been riding horses competitively since I was 5 years old.
Zoe:

Major/minor?
Jasmine:
Foreign Language Major/ Theater Minor
Zoë:
Creative Writing major
Why Hamilton?
Jasmine:
I always wanted to end up somewhere in New York State. I also was pretty certain that I wanted an open curriculum school. However, I only really found Hamilton through Questbridge, and I immediately knew I had to go to this school! The size of the campus and the atmosphere surrounding it are everything I could’ve asked for in a college.
Zoë:
Hamilton’s students and staff are the kindest, most open-minded people I’ve come across and the open curriculumallows me to study a variety of subjects. Coming from Miami, I’ve craved the experience of seasons other than a hot, humid summer. So naturally, I chose the polar opposite: a piercing winter. But I’m excited to bundle up in 20 layers of sweaters and drink hot tea and cocoa with good friends!
Interesting fact about you?
Jasmine:
I have super powers.
Zoë:
My thumbs are different sizes.
What song best describes you?
Jasmine: “
Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen! It’s upbeat and excited from beginning to end. It’s animated and relentlessly over-the-top, and that’s how I like to live my life.
Zoë:
Y’all ever heard “Love My Way” by the Psychedelic Furs? That’s a funky jam. I’m a zesty lady. You do the math.

Sophie:
Everyone here is really nice and it’s also a great school.
Interesting fact about you?
Rose:
I have an identical twin!
Elizabeth:
I have double jointed fingers, so I can bend them all the way back.
Sophie:
I have double-jointed shoulders.
What fad or trend should come back/should go?
Rose:
I think scratch and sniff shirts should come back and fake glasses should go.
Elizabeth:
I think Uggs should come back because they’re so comfy, and super super chunky sneakers aren’t the best.
Sophie:
Dressing up in fancy dresses and tuxes to go out on weekends should come back. White shoes and mom jeans should go.
