Men’s Baseball
A little over halfway through the regular season, the men’s baseball team sits at 9-8. They played multiple tournaments in various parts of Florida over Spring Break, where they won eight out of thirteen of their games. One particularly impressive win was against Springfield College on Mar. 16, where the Continentals won in the eighth inning by pouring on seven runs to win 8-1. They dropped two of their next three games against Wesleyan University, though they managed to steal a game in extra innings after being down 3-5. Most recently, the Continentals lost to SUNY Oneonta after they gave up four runs in the fourth inning. The Continentals will host their next game on Friday, Apr. 4 at 4 p.m. in their first game of three against Williams College.
Women’s Softball
The women’s softball team started their season in a dominant fashion, going 9-3, a vast improvement from last year’s season record. Winning five games ending in a mercy rule, the Continentals have been one of, if not the best, in the NESCAC in multiple batting statistics, including leading the conference in batting average as a team. Though they have gone 1-1 in their two in-conference matchups against Trinity College, one of those games was an impressive 12-1 victory led by Lydia Mirabito ’26, who had a walk-off grand slam to end the game in five innings. The Continentals’ next game will be against Colby College on Saturday, Apr. 5 at 11 a.m. where they will try to continue their great start to the season.

Men’s Lacrosse
The men’s lacrosse team have struggled, but won two of their three games in the past two weeks. While they have gone 2-1 against non-conference opponents, they have won only one of their five NESCAC matchups so far, which was a 10-5 victory over Colby College on Mar. 22. Their next game will be against Trinity College on Saturday, Apr. 5 at 1 p.m. The game will be a great opportunity for the Continentals to begin to climb up the NESCAC standings.
Women’s Lacrosse
The women’s lacrosse team started their season 3-5 and 1-5 against NESCAC teams. Despite their struggles in the standings, they have been largely competitive in their losses. Most recently, the Continentals held their own against Middlebury College, who are ranked 1st in the nation. Down only 6-9 entering the fourth quarter, Hamilton only lost 7-12. Similarly, they lost 9-11 to 5th ranked Colby College, in a game where they were tied 7-7 partway through the third quarter. Their next game will be in Hartford against Trinity College on Saturday, Apr. 5 at noon.
Men’s Tennis
After starting their spring season 2-2, the men’s tennis team went 7-0 in their tournament matchups against non-conference teams in Orlando, Florida. After securing two wins in their finals matchups in Florida against Luther College and Union College (4-3 and 6-1, respectively), the Continentals faced two NESCAC teams. Although their win streak ended at the hands of 24th-ranked Wesleyan University in a 2-5 loss, the Continentals bounced back with a 6-1 victory over Trinity College. Ranked 36th nationally, Hamilton will face 3rd ranked Tufts University in their third straight NESCAC matchup on Saturday, Apr. 5, at 10 a.m. in Clinton.
Women’s Tennis
After starting their spring season 1-3, the women’s tennis team went 2-0 at the USTA National Campus tournament in Orlando, Florida. They won both matchups 7-0, first against the College of Saint Benedict and second against Hendrix College. They then travelled to 4th ranked Wesleyan University and lost 0-7, losing all single matches in straight sets. The Continentals rebounded against Trinity College with a 6-1 victory, their first win of the season against a NESCAC team, sweeping their three doubles matches. Hamilton will host 7th ranked Tufts University on Saturday, Apr. 5 at 2 p.m. as they look to add another in-conference victory to their record.
